What order should you plans things for a destination wedding?

I am in the begining stages of planning a destination wedding. We will be flying to Florida and having our wedding in a church and then we will be going on a honeymoon cruise right after.
We have not set a date yet or anything.
My sisters have been asking me about wedding dresses already!!! Shouldnt that be something that comes much much later?
Can someone who has planned a destination wedding help me out with prioritizing? I'm thinking the first thing would be to book the church which would finalize the date of the wedding and then build from there, but maybe I'm wrong!?
HELP!
Get a wedding planner, tell them what you want, and let them have the headaches!!!
