Where do you go to look for…?
April 3, 2009
Where do you go to look for your wedding package or crew?
E.g.: for the videographer, photographer, place where to have the ceremony, the flowers, limos, and soooo on….
I've looked online, but honestly I've found mostly crap. Do you know any specific site that you could recommend me? also, do you use the yellow pages? any specific wedding guide?…. any other source???
Btw, the wedding is going to be in South Florida… just in case you know something even more specific for this area.
Also, if you know of a place you could recommend me to have my sister's wedding at, I would truly appreciate it. Anything works, now that we've just began planning everything and we still haven't decided the style of the wedding…. same thing with photographers, videographers, flower people, etc.
Thanks a lot!!!!
I truly appreciate all of the help you could give me.

I used several different resources when planning my wedding. First, I looked in the yellow pages. You can also use a website called TheKnot. There are specific message boards and sections of the website for different regions of your state.
Another helpful thing that most people don't think of- ask your friends and family if they know people. You would be surprised how many people are knowledgeable about these kinds of things.
Lastly, on the site for the wedding, don't limit yourself to a specific kind of place- like halls or country clubs. You can have a beautiful, unique wedding at places like museums or clubs.
Good luck!

Look under Wedding Planners. Also, call your local bridal dress shop & ask them who they recommend.

Go to theknot.com. See link above. Look for your local message board there. Ask the brides there for recommendations in your area. Good luck with your search.

Check for local wedding shows in your area. Thats's how I found my D.J. and photographer. Also try asking friends or family to see if they know anyone. The yellow pages is great too.

The Knot is the best resource. They offer plenty of practical hints for brides-to-be form flower arrangements, wedding photography, reception ideas, honeymoon locations and more. My wife and I used them for the budgeting tool and the checklist. Very helpful and easy to use.
