I agree that nightmares are caused because a person is stressed or worried. I had nightmares when I was pregnant that I would have him early and we wouldn't be ready, or have him natural.

There are things you can control, and can't. There are so many what if scenarios that you'd drive yourself crazy if you thought of them!
I could list some, but i don't want to give you more nightmares.

You really have to just take a deep breath, and ***trust that your hard work in planning will make everything go smoothly.
If anything bad happens that day, yup might be a bit stressful. Just laugh about it after wards...
Like my husband stepping on my train and almost tripping me down the isle. I was a but ticked off at the time, but I look back and laugh.

Remember everyone who says "yes" to your invitation is saying "yes" to seeing to and your fiance getting married. Not saying yes to see how much $$ you spent on decorations, or yes to seeing some family fiascos happening, or seeing what others are wearing, or whatever.

They are there to see you, and are excited for you, and care about you enough to think that you are worth they're precious time.

When you go to sleep at night, think good thoughts about the wedding. How beautiful you will look. How much you are in love to this man in your life to be marrying him, how you will grow old together and see your grandchildren!

Oh, and no pizza before bed. LOL
References :
I've been having nightmares about certain aspects of my wedding as well. I've had a recurring nightmare lately where I wake up to my mother shaking me awake and saying "You slept in! It's 2pm and the wedding is in an hour, so you've got to go looking like THAT!" ... and of course what bride wants to go to their own wedding looking like they've just rolled out of bed???

I've had another one where we tried making my own wedding cake and it didn't turn out at the last minute ... so we didn't have a cake.

I've also had a dream where my mother says to me, "It's your wedding day! Aren't you excited?!" ... and in my dream I had completely forgotten, so none of the planning was done at all.

I'm not really sure what the cake one is about since we haven't even considered making my own cake. But dreams are usually a sign of something that we fear or are worried about in our subconscious. So I take the first dream to mean that I am concerned about looking perfect on my wedding day ... and the last dream means I am worried about the wedding sort of "sneaking up on me" without having everything ready before the day arrives. I guess these are logical concerns most brides have.

I would assume your dreams are similar, in that these are things you are concerned may happen at your wedding, and you obviously don't want them to. So making arrangements to avoid these problems seems like a good idea.
References :
I think it's normal you just stressed out because you want everything to go perfect.I wold recommend that you just take things easy, don't worry to much, think positive and everything would be ok...So just have fun on your day and enjoy the preparation of the wedding instead of stressing...
References :
It may help to have a check list with the items you have control over. Then, control what you can.
For instance, know that your dress fits, or have a good idea what the decorations will look like head of time.
You can't control what others do. Hopefully they will all realize it's "your day", and behave properly.
References :
I think you are just stressed. I know there is a lot to do, but sometimes you just need to take a step back a quit planning for a couple of days.

Best of luck!
References :
bride to be 2010
