Ideas for making a Zombie Bride costume?
October 19, 2009
I have an old wedding dress, which I plan on bringing to the point of no return. I need to look like a zombie.
Ideas? Make-up tips? What should I do to the dress?
Anyone have any online guides that I could use?
Thanks very much.
Rip holes into the dress and then sew different material into its place (colours like black, grey and red), splatter with fake blood packets and rub dirt onto the dress. Also cobwebs and fake spiders might look good attached.
For accessories buy or make from black roses, using thin wire inside the ‘stem’ so they can be bent down as if wilting. If you have an old tutu which is white cut the material off and attach to an old hairband (cover in soil and blood like the dress)
For make-up apply foundation which is about 2 shades lighter than your natural skin tone and cover your face and neck. Then using a sponge dab green and red. Next smudge fake blood and brown blusher. Pale lips (almost blue) and fake eyelashes look good, make the eyes around dark as if sunken in. Play around with different make-up and maybe use liquid eyeliner to draw scars across the face.
Hopefully that helps – have fun!

You should get some fake spider web and spiders to put on the dress.Put some fake blood on your mouth and down the front.
