What are some unique things to do at my wedding reception?

I was at my friends wedding and it was awesome. After the bride and groom did their first dance, they had everyone clear the dance floor so they can dance to "Boom Boom Pow". It was cute, funny, and different. Now I’m getting married soon, and I have yet to plan my wedding. Can someone tell me of some fun and different things to do at the reception for my wedding? I don’t want to be a copycat but I don’t want my reception to be boring either. Please help =)
Carnival theme – firebreathers, clowns, unicyclers, and balloon makers walking around
Casino theme – games of blackjack and the like
Masquerade ball- if you love to dress up or you love Halloween, request that your guests dress up in a costume and make it a costume ball
Have your event at a different type of venue, like on a riverboat cruise or in a historical castle or art museum

im also trying to organise my wedding, and im thinking the same as you. you tube wedding dance there is a great video on there for the first dance. im thinking something like that!! check it out xx
